Walking holidays in the heart of Cathar Country

Quillan, nestled between the Corbières, the plateau of the Pays de Sault and the Pyrenees, is a true ramblers paradise with walks for every taste and ability. There are a number of circular routes from the domain itself. Circular walks are also signed throughout the region or you can follow parts of the famous GRs and the Cathar way.

Spring nature walks are particularly recommended for the large number of wildflowers blooming in this unpolluted region. The area boasts more than 30 different species of wild orchid alone. Birdwatchers are also catered for as you can find a great variety of resident birds varying from jays to golden eagles, as well as migrant species such as bee eaters.
